Debate settled, Kris Brown at TE. Crazy, probably but he could be used more as a decoy or with his size 6’4” and 230 he would certainly make SEMS wonder what we were up to and he’d require coverage with the threat of his passing. Crazy I know but at this point we’re short on answers and long on why the hell do we have to lose?

Brown is 220. Doesn't pass the test for a TE; doubt he can block anyone.

I like Huot from what I've seen of him in practice. He's way better than Britt. Ha. I go to the Huot's tailgate every week. The Huot brothers played at Oregon St. and are great guys. The Huot (and more parents) tailgate has the best food/beef of any tailgate I've been to at Griz games.

There’s 5 TE’s on the roster already. He would sniff even less PT than he does as (now) 3rd string QB.

He'll start next year. Thats why Bobby has been slow to pull the Britt trigger.

Interesting. How is mobility wise compared to Britt? If Bobby and Rosie (assuming he’s still OC, lol) can be flexible, a system a la Sac State? Something to ponder.

That's why it makes sense. Hauck needs more oline man so he makes everyone either te or guard.

OK so I said it was a long shot. Sometimes one just has to think out of the box. 5 or 10 TE on the roster doesn’t matter but how many 2nd string QB’s line up on the line of scrimmage?

In other words, the reason Hout is better isn’t because he has any game time TD passes or lead the offense down the field for touchdowns. It all seems to be who has the best tailgate party and the best beef 🥩
