Who thinks Cameron Rundles should start at Portland and through the rest of the season?

I vote for whomever Tinkle decides should start.
That's cheating.

Not at all. If you are not at every practice, and know everything that is going on within the program you cannot possibly make an educated decision. There are a lot of things we are not privvy to that go into making those decisions, it isn't always just stats. You are simply running a popularity contest. :twocents:

I'm not trying to run a popularity contest, which veterans Martin and BE would surely win, nor am I claiming that I know about everything. I'm just wondering what people think based on what they've seen. Even if you think someone is a good coach, you're still allowed to disagree. For fans, an opinion is as involved as you can get.

I think Rundles is a hell of a player and deserves all the court time he gets. Frankly, starting has never been the true measure of worth to me anyway. I think it says a lot more if you are in the game during crucial periods, and at the end of games. Rundles is a better all around player than Martin, and offensively is ahead of Ellis as far as scoring the ball. Defensively there is no question Ellis is better as he should be being a SR. They compliment each other and will both get plenty of minutes. Some players are better when they start while some are better off the bench for various reasons. Martin generally will show you what he has right away. If Matt hits a couple shots and gets on a roll he can really help you. When he misses first few shots, he loses confidence and seems to press becoming a liability. :twocents:

ok, i realize that who starts is decided by the coaches, i do not need to be told that this poll will not actually determine whether cameron rundles or bryan ellis gets more playing time.

i thought I addressed your question.

yeah, there's a response that's way too long. I appreciate the feedback. Hadn't been updating it in a while bc of finals and a tedious article for a public affairs reporting class.
