It is bad, but really no worse than it has been for several years. Doesn't matter if it is mens Basketball, football, coaches show, whatever the radio broadcasts have always been filled with technical difficulties. in fact I can't remember the last time I listened to a complete broadcast that didn't have technical difficulties. The women's broadcast might have the same problem, but the station they broadcast on doesn't have a strong enough signal to reach the south west limits of the city of Missoula so I can't listen to those games.
Between TV and radio the production value of broadcasts is a black eye for the Montana program, and has been for quite some time. Oddly enough I seem to remember a few years ago when they renewed the radio contract there was some controversy involved, and it seem sot me the station said at the time the money they paid was the highest radio contract of any I-AA team, and higher than many I-A teams. You would think if you are paying that kind of money that you would want to be first rate, but it is probably more like the situation with the KPAX where they pay out so much money for rights there is no more money left for production.
