I guess we all know one reason why celebrities now and then lose it on these jokers. I would not have felt one bit sorry for that guy had Gillespie ripped into him or gave him a facelift free of charge.

Read "Raw Recruits", and see how the Bluebloods of Kentucky really are. You see this and the pressure on Gillespie for two years and it makes you wonder how Tubby Smith did it for nine or ten years. Then again recruiting fell off towards the end of Tubby's reign and that didnt help Gillespie either. I would look for him to get another shot with another school. He turned around some horrible programs at UTEP and Texas A+M.

Izzo would be crazy to take that position. The guy owns East Lansing. And the team he has is going to be even better next year. Around here it has been wait until 2010 for the Spartans. The athletic department at State is building a great future with Dantonio and Izzo and I don't see them letting him go that easy.
