Good grief he's so darn good. I'm not much of a swearing person but fill in your own expletives there. Haha.

After watching this past week of Colter and Jordan Tripp talking about Ah Yat, Jordan references his play to be similar to Aaron Rodgers. In the sense where Aaron was one of the most athletic Qbs he's seen play, but instead of using his legs to just run, he used it to keep plays alive while looking down field. Last year, he used his legs just to pick up big runs and he was great at doing that as well but now he's used it in a more dangerous way, extending plays to get his playmakers the ball.
He is truly a GAMER! The bigger the moment, the better he plays. I've played a ton of ball and watched even more ball and he's definitely an FBS caliber QB. His quick decision making, quick release and precision passing is remarkable. For fun, I would rewatch the games and bring out a stop watch to time how fast he gets rid of the ball and it's ridiculous how quick he is. At times it reminds me of a shortstop turning a double play, catch and release. Avg 2.5-3 seconds and even clocked him at 1.5-2 seconds at times. This definitely helps the o-line. If we could just eliminate the high snaps on occasion then holy shit. And knowing the type of kid he is and how hard he works and how much time he puts in to his craft, I can't wait to see him continue to get better. Go GRIZ!!!
