K- Patrick Rohrbach- Verbals from Kalispell, MT

Thats 2 of the best Kickers to come out of Montana verballing to UM in the last few years.

Camden Casper (Billings Central) last year

Montana is VERY VERY Young at Kicker/Punter

Camden Casper (Billings) is a Frosh
Brian Buschini (Helena) Redshirt Frosh
Carver Gilman (Whitefish) Redshirt Frosh

Patrick Rohrbach (Kailspell) Verbal 2022

Although Brian is listed as a Freshman he is actually a Junior in college so he is not fresh out of high school so to speak. Trust me, he is a damn good punter, not worried at all with him. True not a lot of college game time but won’t effect him.

True, but I really like what Coach Hauck is doing here. Instead of bringing in a transfer portal specialist or grad transfer for a single year or two, he is building a stable of born and bred Montana punters and kickers. They most likely will not transfer out and will finish their careers at Montana. These young kickers and punters will get a ton of live game experience early this season and can only grow from there. Buschini and Capser have a lot of experience kicking at ranking camps. These guys may be young, but they have been playing in a pressure cooker for years. I think they will do great.

Could not agree more. Bobby knows what he is doing in the kicking game, he has a way of seeing talent.
And being Montana kids is even more awesome cause your right, they won’t be as tempted by a portal. Although Rohrbach has not been to the National ranking camps his ability is right there. All three of there guys have had personal training from Torgerson Kicking & Punting.

Watched Carver several times in high school. Kid has one heck of a leg for distance. Hope he gets it done at the college level.

Rohrbach had a 51 yard field goal, that sounds like cleared by quite a bit, in Glacier's loss at Butte tonight.

FYI, Bobby did bring in a transfer. Kevin Macias is a senior transfer from AZ that has been handling all the field goals so far. Unfortunately, he's only 3 for 6 so far. I would much rather see the younger guys get some game experience - especially with our upcoming schedule.

He had one blocked from 49 yards...definitely not his fault and missed 2 from 50+.

Hit one from 51 last night

You're talking about Rohrbach right? I think rgrizfan was talking about Macias.

Yep... pretty dang good for a HS Kicker

Indeed. His punts are bombs as well, though Buschini is crushing it this year for the Griz. They're actually pretty good friends. Competition is good for all.
