Just talked to Michael Ray

and Otis Birdsong at Bettys Restaurant in Polson. They are in town for a clinic at the SKC college in Pablo. MRR very happy to be back in Montana although he is now living in OK. Both good guys, fun to talk to. Otis teed off just ahead of our group yesterday, (we tried to get him to join us) and had nothing but good things to say about the Polson golf course.

I could have talked basketball all day with those 2. MRR was THE reason I loved GRIZ basketball as a kid. My passion for GRIZ basketball never stopped. I followed every game he played in the NBA, always looking for his stats 1st in the sports section. Long live Michael Ray Richardson.

I completely understand, the reason I love Griz basketball although not as well known to most was Anthony Johnson and Ceylon-Elgin Taylor, we had a epic backcourt that year and AJ even got invited to the ESPYs which was pretty cool.

CET is one of the most underrated players in GRIZ history. He really came out of nowhere too. Absolutely loved his game too. Man, you really brought back some great memories with that post. :thumb:
