So what if I was on the jury, this may shock some of you but I would vote for acquittal.

If I could vote for JJ guilty of being a huge douchebag I would since he obviously is, but I just don't think he is guilty of rape. I think the woman bears some responsibility to clearly state that she no longer wants to continue if she has started the process through foreplay.
 
Why would that shock us? There isn't any reason for anyone to do anything BUT acquit in this case. I hope most Cat fans put aside football rivalrys for something like a trial.


As for voting for douchebags, well... Let's just say you've been guilty on all counts for many, many years.

If you could be convicted of beinga douche, you'd never again see the light of day.
 
I think the entire thing is retarded, the girl wanted revenge for a bad date, Johnson was being an entire shed full of tools, but that's not rape and never was when the girl was obviously interested and wanted to have sex. The University looks terrible for the way they handled it, when a man is accused of rape, he should be OFF the team immediately until the proceedings are finished. Afterward he should be able to return if he is acquitted, but this whole thing has been an embarrassment to the entire state. Everything that could have been handled wrong, was.

I was not shocked by your opinion. Time to call out your fellow cattrollers to admit they were wrong and take a bite of the huge sh*t sandwich they so richly deserve.

Well, the Griz might not make the NCAA tourney or FCS playoffs, but we certainly got international and national attention. The Administration should hang their heads in shame.

:loser: And so is this post. If you only knew the timeline: he was OFF THE TEAM AFTER HE WAS CHARGED. During spring ball there was a temporary order of protection (not to approach the alleged victim) but had not been criminally charged. I hope no one ever accuses you and treats you as guilty for a year.

Man, I'm sick of this crap. I'm sorry to hear about Bignell's arrest.

Guys, it's really not that freaking hard to stay out of jail. I managed 4 years of college without getting arrested, and I'm willing to bet I had more fun. too.

I had a lot of fun too, and never got in trouble with the law. Just be responsible, it is that simple!
 
I was relieved to hear the not guilty verdict in the Johnson trial yesterday. I was never in the courtroom, but I followed the trial quite extensively. Based on what I did hear, I really felt this would be the outcome. Unfortunately, due to the fact that my husband and I were unlucky enough to acquire a daughter-in-law who is a drama queen, and a liar, I have become unable to believe many things without 100% proof.
