Jordan Tripp Drafted In Top 100?

Does anyone think that this could happen? Tru was picked number 65. Does anyone see a scenario where Tripp is picked higher than Tru? I don't but I think Jordan could make the top 100 if things fall his way.

Tripp will get drafted high and quite possibly top 100. I personally see him around 100-115 area. No way he goes higher than tru. Tru was the best player the Griz has had in the last 15 ish years

Top 100 would be in the 4th round. Top 100 is early 3rd, which is just better than most the projections for him. I doubt he will get taken within 20 spots of Tru. Tru's position and size at his position really helped his stock. Tru was a little rarer combination and higher need in th NFL than Tripp at OLB.

Either way, I have a feeling there will be 2 GRIZ LB's in the NFL from this year. I have a lot of confidence in Tripp and Coyle.

Since I've no clue... what's up with McSurdy these days?

Optium Scouting has Tripp rated 13th among non-FBS players available.

Yardbaker has him 9th & CBSSports has him 8th

Its all based upon the level of need within the draft. Being spoken of in this manner & getting a camp invite would be enough for me. Knowing what I see of Mr Tripp he is probably feeling the same.

According to THIS link, McSurdy was signed by the Rams on 1/7/14:

Interesting that if you just go by the numbers Jordan's Soph and Jr. seasons are statistically more impressive especially in the TFL and Sack departments.

I suspect that might be scheme responsibilities and utilization.

If it was up to Kiper he'd go 95 to the Broncos.

Jordan Tripp will visit #Eagles Monday, #Falcons later in week. Brock Coyle will visit #Seahawks, #Chargers, I like both #Montana LBs.

Guy says he is the 13th most physically gifted player in all the draft. But isn't impressed with his game film and doesn't think he will be much of a NFL player.
