Jordan Noblitt hearing from Pepperdine

why does this matter. None of this information pertains to Griz Basketball. Good for him that he is hearing from these schools and plays JC basketball, but what does it have to do with this particular Message board. Start a Jordan Noblitt website or go to the Pepperdine or Tulsa Board. Do we honestly care about every letter the kid gets. A letter does not me your being recruited. Again I am happy for any young man who is doing something positive but these Jordan Noblitt updates are coming from nowhere. If he becomes heavily recruited by the Griz then this will be relevent to the board.

Back off Bawler! It is not like you Griz fans really give a damn about this BASKETBALL board anyway!! Noblitt is a Missoula native who may get a D-1 scholarship offer! Of course it should be of interest to Griz followers. And if as some people have posted , was set up in his JC with the help of Tinkle it is a no brainer that Griz fans SHOULD keep an eye on him! I personally want to know all of the Montana athletes that are recieving D-1 interest whether the Might Bobcats or the Griz are interested or not.

UM = D1
MSU = D1

Football is the only sport with the sub-classification

*sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine. I'm sure you knew that.

I under stand your pet peeve, I have it, too. I do not think, though, I refered to MSU or UM as anything but D1. I am a basketball guy, I tend to think we are D-1 first and that "minor" sport football is the D1-aa, sport. :)

... but common... do we need to know everytime a kid gets a letter of interest? Most of those letters are copies and sent out by the truckload! Let's wait and hear when the OFFERS come in, okay?

I think there are only about 4 of us that read the and post on the basketball forum frequently anyways, and it is o.k. with me and mslacat if bigboy posts with every letter - gives us something to read :lol:

Once again the defensivness is out of control on this board. You must have selective reading. I said how happy I was for the kid and how he was doing something positive but do we really need to hear about every letter. Like I said hearing from a school is way different than actually being recruited. GOOD FOR JORDAN I AM HAPPY FOR HIM once again but what if we wrote about every letter that Hasquet got or any other Missoula athelete. C'mon don't make me out to be the bad guy hear.

That's funny that you mention Hasquet because Jordan N. and Jordan H. are good friends along with Matt. D. and others.

I'm glad to hear that Noblitt is doing well also. I would also like to note that the amount of recruiting mail that a decent player receives is incredible. I myself was inundated by mail from Big Sky, Big 10, Pac 10, and Ivy League schools, just to name a few. However these letters most of the time just like the SPAM that you get in your email box and I ended up in a very small school. If the coach is really interested they'll start calling. I love Nobs and I hope that he has a good year but relaying every so called recruiting letter to the board is showing bad taste.

Grizbeer ... not true. I read this and the football forum everyday. Since I'm in Billings, I rely on all you folks to keep me updated and do appreciate your efforts. Looking forward to hearing what your thoughts are on the 11/04 game with Great Falls.
