Jordan Johnson's uncle Lane thinks.... (Link included)

I can't find a link but he made the same comment broadcast on KULR8 Billings last night at 10. IMO I hope he does what is best for him and hope that is suiting up as a Griz.

"I think he wants to get back to playing football. That is why he came here to begin with".
Griz nation wants whatever is best for JJ.

It is an interesting thought to have the entire team unified around JJ with this experience providing the fuel for their mission as a team next season. But that is their call and I leave it to them.

If anything honorable comes out of this let it be heightened sensitivity to the definition of sexual assault, what it is and what it isn't, and the collateral damage that occurs when it is charged in circumstances where it isn't warranted for the purpose of selfish and ulterior agendas.

Very well put. How many of us have had an one night stand or a few nights? To think, regardless of age there could be someone that would blow that up into ones worse nightmare. It definitely should get most any male to wake up and think about the consequences of not being selective. I hope many parents are using this as a learning tool to teach their young kids.

From the Register-Guard, Eugene's local newspaper....

http://registerguard.com/rg/news/29517328-76/johnson-montana-rape-football-university.html.csp

Lane Johnson, Jordan’s uncle, said the family is relieved by the verdict.

“It will be nice for (parents) Marty, Kelly and Jordan to get their normal lives back,” said Johnson, a Sheldon High teacher and head football coach who was in the courtroom.

“They’ve been through the ringer. Our whole family has, but especially those three, for the past 13 months. It’s nice that justice prevailed.”

Lane Johnson continued: “Jordy has been so strong through this whole thing. It’s been amazing to watch a 20-year-old teach us ... what it’s like to be strong. He’s been unbelievable.”

Johnson said his nephew plans to return to the Grizzlies.

“All along one of the things that kept Jordan strong was the support from the Montana football program. He’s a Montana guy.”
