I think even the Griz will appreciate this one. It's obvious from this video that our university respects y'all.

For those who don't know/remember, Rodney Landers, who narrates the video, he was our QB in 2008 who got injured early in the game. He was a run first QB, built like an NFL linebacker, and until his ankle injury in our game vs. Montana, nearly unstoppable at our level. To put it in perspective, that year JMU had beaten #1 App State, #3 UMass, #5 Richmond, #7 Villanova, and #12 William and Mary. We didn't have much talent on offense besides Landers.

I'm so pumped for this game. Let's go!

That was good! It’s gonna be a battle for sure. I believe our men are up to it. Go GRIZ!
 
This makes me kind of mad that our two programs didn't get the chance to play more. I've gone entire seasons without really thinking about JMU (in the context of being Griz opponents), but we've got a pretty rich history.

Two of the biggest games in either team's history were against each other. Despite being a quarterfinal game, this one's got quite the stakes.
