JJ Trial

Boylan: "Psychological evidence. Perpetrator is in control. Controls time, place."
----------------------------------------------
And there's where the Jury goes: Jane Doe controlled the time and the place ....

I was fairly nervous during the initial part of the prosecution's closing arguments. But after reading the twits as she has gone further into it, I don't feel as nervous. The state does not have much of a case and she keeps :dead: that it's "not a he said, she said" case. Unforutnately she keepings bringing up what each side has said.
Their case is just too weak for a verdict beyond a reasonalbe doubt that he knowingly had sex without her consent. :twocents:

my thoughts exactly, now Boylan is rambling on. I hope the jury isn't buying any of this and rather that they are beginning to nod off.

I don't believe the prosecution has proven its case but there will be at least one jurist that will think they did. I do not expect a quick verdict. If, on the other hand, the jury returns in a relatively short amout of time I feel it will be an aquittal.

If this were any place but Missoula, MT, I would agree with you guys.

I have a feeling this will not end well. Dark days ahead.

This exactly.

So, during her closing argument Boylan starts off by saying "this isn't he said, she said" but then later, while discussing what constitutes sex without consent, she says that the two stories differ on whether or not consent was given. Nice contradiction there.

Edit: And, no, I'm not Fwen Glorio, who just tweeted the same observation.

B: she told him no clearly, sternly #JohnsonTrial he said, turn over or I'll make you

The prosectuion can't even keep their closing arguments in a straight line.
So did he pin her arms with his hands leaving bruises (cross of JJ by Durek) or hold her down with his forearm across her chest leaving the red mark seen the next day by the nurse (jane, nurse testimony, boylans closing)? How did he go about removing janes clothing while doing either of the above if Jane is holding her legs together, yet somehow attempting to push alleged "rapist" (whom she asked if he had a condom per her testimony and his) off using her knees.

State says her text saying "i think i wanted it" was a snapshot taken out of context, but don't take Jane's "i think I just got raped" out of context (even though her male roommate 10 feet away didn't take it serious).

Good lord folks, cheer up. This woman is just saying the same things that the defense tore apart during the trial. Remember, the book runaway jury was just that, a book. All people aren't stupid and corrupt. No way they find him guilty.

So.. what you are implying is that NO girl EVER has been forcibly raped because what you describe above cannot possibly happen.... :thumb:

B: there are quite a few things we agree on - there was sexual intercourse, there were no mixed signals.. #JohnsonTrial

List: Stephen Green, Donald's Twitter message, snack, condom, alcohol, mixed signals. #JohnsonTrial

ok, i'm getting mixed signals here.

Oh I'm cautiously optimistic. :thumb:

Wow, does anyone else feel that Boylan is talking about evidence that doesn't really exist? The injuries for example. She had injuries to her head, clavicle, chest?? WTF??? Was there any evidence of these injuries?
