Her entire testimony by her own admission was in retrospect (memory.)

As opposed to . . .

As opposed to knowing who she was from the days after and watching and interacting with that in mind as opposed to reconstructing her memories after the fact.
So by knowing she would have to testify at some later date, observing, and taking notes or something? Stupider and stupider.

Based on actual numbers. Explain to us how you tally unreported rapes. We are waiting with baited breath....

Not that you really care, but there is an actual mathematical science that will provide you with statistical data...

Say for instance you wanted to know the odds of recruiting out of Compton, CA and that recruit ending up a thug.. one could put some statistical data together to arrive at a conclusion...

I'm sure EWU would have that data and you could check that out objectively.

Since you brought EWU up lets look at how each school ACTUALLY TREATED very similar events....

UM: Football player accused of rape. Coach praised him, went to AD to plea that he remain on the team until "convicted" of such charges, but was eventually suspended. Allowed to remain in school...

EWU: Football player accused of rape. Coach Immediately kicks him off team. University immediately kicks him out of school....

Because the EWU kid did it...duh. :o

Jeez EWU sure had better hope he was guilty because if not then he may have the basis for a massive settlement due to violation of his rights. Or maybe you don't have those over there? Take a hit from that legal bong and think about it for a moment...

Yeah, it was really difficult for EWU to determine the appropriate course of action when the player was caught in the act of raping an unconscious 17 year-old.

EWU was wrong...ruined a kids life over what? what someone else claims to have happened, without waiting for proof? Wrong. You can't start kicking kids off for everything, otherwise I'm going to drive down to north hedges in early april, beat the shit outta my new truck and claim it was a football player.

Pflu was right, UM was wrong, EWU was wrong...

I hope people start to use their heads....

EDIT: saw ummann's post above...two totally different situations. Ewu was not wrong in that case.

As opposed to say JJ's roomates who knew from the begining or the girls friends teaches etc who also knew from the begining or JJ 's roomates girlfriend or his Dad. All of whom gave informed testimony. The pharmacy student basically saying Well now looking back I don't recal her having problems There was no reason to think she should know anything.. Almost as stupid as Bell saying well looking back she had PTSD

Come on.... Don't let the facts get in the way. He could have used Donaldson as an example too, but that wouldn't have worked so well..

So witnesses must know something from the beginning, and have been told by the accuser or the accused, to observe anything? This was a reluctant witness. You started this by labeling her, like you tend to do, and now are trying to defend what you said in some weird way that doesn't make much sense. Try being cogent, or better yet, stop while you're behind.

The #JohnsonTrial has come to a close. Though most I see think he will, can Jordan Johnson overcome stats like this? http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/files/2013/01/rape_infographic.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; …

rape_infographic.jpg

That is so much BS about only 2% falsely accused. One study that was published in a professional journal showed at least 41% were false accusations. So, who you gonna believe? Science or anti male activists?

Following Twitter and the comments here reminds me of the problem that all criminal defense lawyers have:

"If you think defending the guilty is hard, try defending the innocent."

The reason is, you make the State go through their paces and prove all the facts when they are guilty, and if convicted by a jury then the system worked.

But if an innocent defendant is convicted the system, and especially the defense attorney failed.

but again... that is stuff for the other State College.....

Does your college do this? This would be outright discrimination - denying based upon stereotype and not the individual. You can do it if you want, but if so, your college needs to stop receiving any federal funds or grants, and pay back the ones you currently have. They would have had to rep and cert they don't do this (EEO/AA/etc etc) - so there could be some jail time for officials who have conducted this fraud.

Or maybe your college is like the others, and you spew nonsense.

The three things that Mark Twain hated the most: lies (e.g. Jane Doe's accusations), damn lies (e.g. anything posted by tnt), and statistics (e.g. Spokaneman's domain).

How is any of the testimony you've described NOT from memory? Was there a flux capacitor involved? I am very confused by your posts. Please discuss.
