They are trying to show that the counselor who diagnosed her with PTSD did not diagnose it correctly because she had testified that she did not obtain the victim's prior medical history. If they can show that the victim most likely did not suffer from PTSD and was incorrectly diagnosed by this counselor and not diagnosed by two other counselors, it shows that her strange behavior may not have been caused by a traumatic event such as a rape, leading to reasonable doubt. The defense is only trying to instill as much reasonable doubt as possible at this time.
