You think the movie and its plot is not very important to the case Punch?

I believe it could potentially show the "mood" or thought process of the girl. Bringing a guy into her bedroom, closing the door, getting on the bed and watching a movie (that she picked out) centered around sex might make one believe she was anticipating or hoping for a sexual encounter and was trying to "set the mood" so to speak.
except the movie is about a girl NOT having sex, I guess JJ didn't get that part of the mood setting agenda.

You people are unreal ...........

You must be a real Mensa king. Do you get your rocks off trolling around this site and having your ass handed to you on a daily basis? Not enough action on BN for your tastes?

But what if he was watching Star Trek? Or Batman? Or Seven (Se7en)? What then? Was JJ acting like Captain Kirk? Or perhaps Bruce Wayne? Or maybe, at worst, like the criminal mastermind in Seven. Who knows? Or, as discussed earlier, maybe he was acting like Emilio Estevez from The Breakfast Club? The movie possibilities are endless.
Yeah, if they had actually watched them.

But, oddly enough, they didn't. Perhaps you should have asked the Expert Witness.

I see you are again unable to respond to the substance of my post. Rather than reiterate the obvious, I will let it rest. Your insults are thus predictable, however hilarious they may be to you.
You are one pompous SOB. You fabricate some controversy understandable only to you about comparing an expert witness with an alleged victim's choice of a movie, run on your gas fumes for four internet pages pontificating about what you pretend to know about the "law," "expert witnesses," "juries," and then when nobody wants to play your game, they are not "responding to the substance of your post," which is the hilarity-inducing post of the year as it clearly labors under the delusion that there was "substance" to your post.

Your obsession with your own efforts to make an absurd correlation, and pretending that someone else made it, makes you sound nuts. Nobody except you compared a movie plot to the expert witness. Nobody except you seems to want to. Now you are pouting and stamping your little feet.

do you think he could have been acting like the emilio estevez from repo man? now there was a character.

Two things I know for certain:
1) no way JJ is convicted
2) Jerry Punch needs to get a life and forget the reality sh*t

One thing I suspect is true:

Any abrasions this chick may have probably came from her previous trysts with Trumaine and Dotson

add one more thing to your list Special K JP really should move out of mom's basement and get his own place and get a job

The alleged victim could have slapped her mother for not believing and cats and tnt and JP would say, still could go either way. How much more proof do you need that the alleged victim is Koo Koo? It is also interesting that the alleged victim is picking up people from all over them to bring to her house. If rape is about control, she seems to be the one wanting to control every issue. Her friends probably don't have cars, but still a little odd.

Yeah, and I have the feeling that a Griz football player could rape a woman on the 50 yard line of WGS during half-time of the cat-Griz game and some of the people on this board would defend them until their dying breath. That's a bitter but true pill. Does everything have to be black and white to some of you? Do you lack the ability to see that some evidence is in favor of one person's side of the story and another piece of evidence might be in favor of the others?
Cat cheerleaders are safe.
I know , I know that is bad but couln't help myself.

You guys can point out where I'm wrong, but that would take too much effort and knowledge. I heard UM has a great journalism school, however.

It has been pointed out to you, you missed it, didn't understand it, or can't understand it.

I understand MSU has a great remedial reading program, however, sign up.

This banter is funny. I have just a simple question. Based on the testimony (well, the Twitter account of the testimony) does anyone believe that JJ will be convicted?

Jerry. Maybe STFU with your OCD yammering. Isn't your mall-cop shift about to start?

Absolutely not. But a jury has been known to do unpredictable things in the past. There are many movies and TV dramas capturing those events. Ask UMGriz75 for more information.

And despite my insistence that JJ get a fair trial and my doubt of the accuser's credibility, the attitude problem of some in Griz Nation still persists. As long as guys are out there saying that Beau Donaldson got a raw deal because of the environment in Missoula, the problem isn't fixed. Ursa is right.

Anyone ever told you you're a douche bag? Oh wait, dumb question. Why don't you just let the adults have a conversation. Run along now....

maybe they were going to reenact the movie, go into the room and make sounds like they were having sex without actually doing it, except JJ had a premature accident :thumb:

There's no such thing, Jerry. It's just a bunch of individual posters. Please don't lump me in.

My apologies. You're right. I have many good and decent friends who recognize it. At Cat Griz, the fans were the best I have been around in a long time. None of the bitterness and rudeness. Just two fans of opposite teams being respectful towards one another. What a novel idea.

Of this you are right. Would also like to note that this isn't a problem that is isolated to Missoula. Seen it just about everywhere in regards to sports, and when it comes to the perception of athletics on school campuses, there is a little bit of truth to it. I don't happen to like the haters out there about athletics, but if you (people in general) cannot recognize they have a point about the issues of entitlement, perceived imperviousness to rules, and people's lack of rational behavior towards athletics then you are as much of the problem as people who automatically penned Jordan Johnson guilty.

Yes, and that's the reality. Message boards bring out the worst in people, of course, so you can't get sucked into the notion that message board drivel reflects any objective reality.
