Wow didn't realize he was in this condition. Was a fun QB to watch. But back then I think they understood the risks. Sue the NFL?? Really? Whats to say he wouldn't have taken a beanball to the noggin if he played baseball and be in the same condition?? Sue baseball??? Sheesh!!

Boo hoo. You'd have to be living under a rock the past 25 years to NOT know the impact of concussions. He's a moron...always was....

At this point, I don't claim him any more. He married my mom's cousin way back when before he divorced her. My family has his 85-86 Bears jersey worn in the Super Bowl victory, and I have a jersey of his from his Packers days.

He was always a nice guy around my family apparently, but I've heard from many that he's a tool. But it's never good going through Alzheimer's/Dementia. Lost my grandfather to that horrid disease.

I'm willing to bet that his drug usage has played a decent role in his memory loss. With that said, everybody knows the risks of football, it's a dangerous sport. Nobody is forcing these guys to play the sport, it's their own choice.

I read his autobiography that came out a few years after the SB win. It was pretty entertaining. Saw him interviewed one time a few years ago at the Lake Tahoe celeb golf tournament..didn't seem like he was all with it.

Yikes, I'm speechless! Do I say "congratulations" to her or "I'm sorry to hear that to you." :o

Can't remember where I saw the show (too many concussions), but they talked about how it was not only concussions, but any shot to the head that was causing damage.

They used a kid from Princeton (not sure)as an example, for he had never been documented as having a concussion, but did pass away from degenerative brain damage.

Now that I have totally butchered my thoughts, let me summarize.

The take away is that it is never good to have your brain 'sloshed' around.
