JJ's leaving kpax for North Dakota State - he said his farewell on the news last night. BH gave him a signed Griz helmet - signed by the entire staff - pretty cool. I'll miss his broadcasting - he always does a great job. Oh, and he's getting married this month - so congrats, Jeremy, on the new job, new wife and new beginnings...I wish you the best!

Jorgenson named sales and broadcasting director for athletics

Jeremy Jorgenson has been named the director of sales and broadcasting for the NDSU athletic department. He begins his new duties on June 1. The announcement was made April 26 by Gene Taylor, director of athletics.

Jorgenson will be responsible for NDSU’s multi-media that includes radio, television and Internet.

Jorgenson comes to Fargo from Missoula, Mont., where he worked as the sports director for KPAX-TV. Jorgenson was the television play-by-play voice for the University of Montana football and basketball. Previously, Jorgenson worked for Media Relations Inc., Burnsville, Minn. From May 2000-April 2004, Jorgenson served as the sports director at Fargo’s KVRR-TV.

A native of Montana, Jorgenson was an all-state football player, and all-conference basketball player at Shepherd High School. He played one year of college football and basketball at NCAA Division III Concordia College, Moorhead.

Good luck to JJ. I know he had/has his critics, but I dsare he he is probably better than any of his Egriz critics could do. If not, there appears to be an opening so JJ critics, now is your chance. :thumb:

The spot's already been filled by someone who is a UM alum, a true Griz fan, and can call one helluva game. Insider info, reliable sources.
