Curious to know if there are any reports on him. Here's why.

For years, our football team has benefitted from Montana high school kids who play extremely well at the high school level but don't get picked up on the national radar. Same true of basketball?

I mean, Tres Tinkle is tearing it up as a true freshman starter at Oregon State. Sure, he was on the national radar, but even then I think he was under-rated. Does this mean Samuelson could come in and become yet another "Montana bargain?" I'm thinking we may already have one in Gavin DeJong.

Citay, based on my limited viewing of 2 scrimmages and pick up games, here is what I think. He has nice footwork, versatility, and a very soft touch with good post moves. Offensively, I think he has some nice potential. Defensively, I really am not sure. Then again, I have not witnessed him play since the season started. Chances are very likely all the newcomers have improved immensely by playing it against good competition all the time in practice. Playing against a player like Breunig can only help the young post players. If Samuelson progresses in his RS year the way DeJong has, then I see him being a solid player for the GRIZ. I like Samuelson's chances of getting solid playing time as he gets older.

I cannot say the same for the young guards though. The GRIZ are absolutely loaded at guard. It is hard for me to realistically see any of the walk on guards seeing much playing time, unless they can hold out until they are SR's.

THX for the update on Jared. Another Griz and I were talking about him earlier today, since he is from one of the high schools that I attended. Sounds like had might be a great addition to the team, next year......time will tell.
