The issue is an arrest that just happened. The only problem is that the cut happened before the case had any shot at being processed. Therefore, the guy could still come out with an acquittal. If that happens, the guy has a good case for a wrongful termination suit. How's that going to make the No Fun League look? This Pacman overreaction is starting to look really dumb. In fact, NFL Live is starting to report the potential for even Pacman to sue since he should have been grandfathered into the old policy since his "sins" occurred before the implementation of the new policy. He HAS, in fact, appealed the suspension. The legal prohibition against ex post facto laws seems to give Pacman a compelling case. We'll see where these cases go very soon, I'm sure.
