Jackson Thiebes - Developing Rugby Star

While going to grad school in Boston, Thiebes played with the Mystic River, one of the top teams in New England, where my Dartmouth friend is the General Manager (and former captain of the US Eagle 7's team and head coach). He was signed last fall to play for the new Boston area professional team, in its start-up exhibition year. He was the player of the match in multiple games. He has recently been loaned to the NYC team and is playing for them. He's listed as a 6'5", 255 lock/second row. Former UM kicker Harrison Greenberg works in NYC, and I think the two of them were roommates at UM.

My daughter's team, the Bel Air rugby team (women's, men's and old boys), which stayed at the Bel Air motel, brought Ron Jeremy to town for the weekend for the Maggotfest. Uncle Ron was a big hit.
