interesting vote totals

Led the FCS in sacks and TFL’s but seriously when are the voters gonna stop hosing guys? This is not the first time they’ve done this.

As much as I appreciate O’Connell I would have given it to Anderson on a Silver platter. Day in and day out he has been the best player in FCs the past 5-6 years. His 4th and 1 tackle against South Dakota St. in the first quarter was all I needed to see that the Cat’s would win that game. Hate the cats, but he is a Baller.

That award has become all about the best, flashy stats and no more. Whoever leads the FCS in sacks and TFL will continue to win this award with the uneducated voters, whether they deserve it or not.

For what it is worth; the Griz got 3 out of 4 of the interceptions the Walter Payton Award winning threw for the season.

Sounds like the rest of today's Internet sports statistics obsession. :x  :x
