Sources say Brown’s Robinson headed to OSU

Several internet media outlets have announced that Oregon State has hired Brown’s Craig Robinson as the school’s new men’s basketball coach.
There has been no official word from Oregon State.
Jeff Goodman of foxsports.com and Gary Parrish of cbssportsline.com both report that the Beavers have hired Robinson to take over for Jay John, who was fired in January.
Goodman reports that the Beavers chose Robinson over IUPUI coach Ron Hunter.
Robinson is the brother-in-law of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. In his second season, Robinson led Brown to a 19-10 overall record, including an 11-3 record in the Ivy League.
Before heading to Brown, Robinson spent six years as an assistant at Northwestern.
