Uhhh, SJU is in the Big East and plays their homes games at Madison Square Garden. They're like the 5th winningest BB program of all time. To top it off, it's a considerably better school than either UGA or UNLV.

That program sells itself.

the only reason this kid is going to play for St. Johns is because they just hired Steve Lavin, formerly of UCLA and a guy who has a lot of pull in SoCal and now national basketball.....St. Johns is an average academic school, with nothing much to recommend it but a presence in the metro NYC area...and, if anyone considers that area bad news, they don't get out much....NYC is the capitol of the Western World....like or not...
