I really enjoyed listening to Scott talk about the offense. Especially about whoever the starting QB will be and what he has to do this season for the offense to be successful. Whoever the QB is shouldn't try to do much but just manage the game and offense. There is a lot of veteran leadership with the receivers so allowing them to lead and do what they do.
The kids on both sides of the ball are so lucky to be surrounded by these veteran coaches who coached on every level and have a well of knowledge that is priceless. If I were playing now, I would spend all my free time bugging Linehan, Hauck, Pease and these guys and trying to pick their bran every chance I got. Because when you're playing on this level, you are already physically able and ready and all the physical attributes will be gained in the weight room and work outs. But to gain wisdom and knowledge from these coaches is invaluable and you can't get at most college programs.
I hope some of these kids realize this and try to up their mental/knowledge game because having these types of coaches doesn't happen often.
