The Hauck relationship with the Kaimin and the Jordan Johnson trial came up in class yesterday, so I talked with my professor about the re-hiring after class, and I learned that one of the big reasons why Hauck got labeled as a dick with the media was the visiting Pollner professor that semester was ESPN's Chris Jones who would then pass it on. Huh. Learn something new.

Jones was quoted in the recent Kaimin article. I commented immediately in an egriz thread on Jones' quote, which was out to lunch. Jones is biased and doesn't have a clue. Jones was a huge problem at UM. Did the school a big disservice. Was at Esquire then.

A number of people tried to talk to Chris Jones at the time, myself included. That guy is a complete punk.
