I was at the start-up Sierra Baseball League championship series a few weeks ago between my hometown Lodi GrapeSox (led by UOP's Matt Fuson, the best baseball player in the world) and the NorCal Longhorns (whose uniforms really were based on the Texas unis. (South Division member East LA Dodgers had unis that were just like the big boys as well.) Anyways, on the GrapeSox sideline was a tweener wearing a Cal Poly Pomona (the OTHER Cal Poly) t-shirt and a Griz cap. I don't know what connection he has between a weak D-II school and one of the best schools in FCS, but it certainly looked interesting.
