At NDSU, home of the last two FCS national title trophies, the Bison grabbed the majority of their 21 kids from Wisconsin (6), Minnesota (3) and Florida (3).
So much for "recruiting more in Minnesota".

Hear ya there...anyone been inside the fargo dome??? I know when I cross the "Divide" on my way to Zula on Friday afternoon the scenery gets more "AWESOME" by the mile. By the time I hit Rock Creek I'm driving hands free. I know the Mo Club is < an hour away.AZGrizFan said:braves84 said:really, coppere griz you would rather play for a team that has missed the play offs 2 of the last 3 year than to play for the 2 time defending nat. champs and probably the favorites to win it again this year. i would really like to hear all the reasons for that one.
Because, despite ALL that, you still have to spend your time in Fargo. ![]()

Ryan Mckinley and Treshawn Favors would be better guys to ask.
griz4life said:As this column points out, North Dakota and North Dakota State combined for four in-state recruits this year, including a transfer returning home. If the Griz recruited like that, but managed to win back to back championships, while moving up a division no less, would the wins make the lack of Montana kids on the roster acceptable? Sure doesn't seem to keep Bison fans away.

Count the number of national championships we've won under out of state quarterbacks. :ugeek:

griz4life said:It's probably not fair to write off the North Dakota preps as somehow less athletic than the Montana preps. North Dakota has two thirds Montana's population. Montana struggles to string together as many AA-sized schools as one might find in the 40 miles between Spokane and Coeur d' Alene.
North Dakota is going to struggle even more and the benches aren't going to be very deep as a result. Same for South Dakota. That doesn't mean there isn't talent there.

Well, I just don't like fat chicks. Oh shi7. Now Florio and her minions will be all over me. Sorry B84. Just having a little fun with you. If you have ever been to Montana you must know the scenery is hard to beat!!

Nobody cares. The template is set, and I'll be the only one to recognize your factual post.
