In Case You Missed It ... Cooper Kupp

Soar loser fans will be leaving at half. UM is better on both Offense and Defense. Bob and Semore will put a hurting on Rocket Man(Baldwin). Expecting big, big, big fits of anger from Baldwin when thing go south for EWU. UM has better coaching staff, better players, and the one thing Eastern fans don't have...class. Keep the Montana fans from getting tickets or Washington Griz Stadium West will return.

Kupps a great talent and great guy, and he's absolutely torched 4 PAC 12 offenses. He will do just fine at the next level.

He probably had 325+ yards yesterday and eastern easily scores 75 + if Baldwin doesn't call off the dogs

Kupp has one more record to break (receptions) he will probably be close to it when the Griz roll into Cheney
Care to throw out a way-too-early UM-EWU prediction?

I haven't seen much of Gubrud except a couple snaps of the WSU game. Sounds like a real threat though.

If we are healthy, I think it will be in the ballpark of 41-38.....Griz? It'll be close I know that. I think having our best corner back and active will be the deciding factor.

Both teams will score points, thats a given. I don't care how much improved the Eastern D is or how good the Griz D is, this game will have a lot of points. UNI held EWU to 34, thats Easterns lowest output this year and that game was played in an absolute $hit storm, with 30 mph winds and rain. I would be shocked if Montana held Eastern below 40. Eastern scored 49 points on UC Davis last week in the first 18 minutes of the 2nd half, they can score and score quickly. I think a valid argument can be made that this is the best offensive team Eastern has ever had.

On the flip side, Eastern still gives up points and Montana can score so I would say the Griz will put a lot of points on the board as well. Easterns secondary is a lot better, but I think we may have trouble stopping Calhoun in the run game. I'd expect a big game from Calhoun. Eastern will bring more pressure on Defense this year (we didn't bring any the past 2 years), but that will leave some 1 on 1 matchups that the Griz are sure to hit on, at least a couple times, in the passing game for big plays. Eastern's weakness is a team with a strong running game, so it will be interesting to see what Stitt does.

I would give the advantage to Eastern playing at home and the fact that they had to live all offseason knowing they were absolutely Mauled in Missoula last year. They haven't forgotten that and the players and coaches would love to take it to the Griz this year.

My guess is something like EWU 45 Montana 38, it should be a helluva game, it always is. Its turned into a great rivalry over the years.

Seems about right to me. I say this a is a coin toss though. 45-38 seems about right. Whomever comes out on top it will be very close one score or less. Gonna try to go to this one although I hate the red turf.

Three games between now and this game. A lot can happen. Here is to both teams being healthy for this game. Best against' the best, don't want it any other way.
