OK, brand me as a skeptic and judgemental. Sure it's a bummer that he lost his life...but, if he was such a "great dude", "good dad" and wanted to see his one year old daughter who was his pride and joy, WHY was he hanging out at a nightclub at 1:30 AM? There are just too many ingredients for bad outcomes. Stay home and be a DAD.

hmmm. well, i'm a dad and consider myself a pretty good one. but when i dont have parental responsibilities, i.e. the kids are away at grandmas or something....i have had the nerve to be at the bars until closing! :shock: at some places that is TWO in the morning and not just 1:30!

at least i know if i ever am out again, and idiots shoot up the bar i am in....i had it coming and i'm a bad dad. :thumb:

I've gone to bars maybe 5 or 6 times in my life total... One time was for a friends birthday party. Just went to hang out, and not drink a whole lot (didn't even get a buzz). It was pretty damn late too... So if I got shot, since I was in a bar late at night it would mean that I'm probably just some thug who hangs out late at night, ignores family, and probably had it coming?

There are a lot of scenarios where good people are at bars late at night. Not everyone out past dark is a criminal. Some people aren't at the stage in their life where they are in bed asleep by 8pm, and up by 5am to get ready to head to Denny's (with AARP card in hand) for the early bird special.

Very sad situation really. Hope they are able to track down the shooter(s).

By the way...he wasn't at a bar or a nightclub. He was at a party at a private apartment/studio for the launch of a new clothing line. It probably wasn't much different than the infamous private party where TJ and GK were tased.

wow 66volco, what a douche thing to say. If i ahd just ONE dollar for EVERY dad i see at the tailgates with beer in hand after a game, then see that same dad buckle the kids in and leave the stadium behind the wheel, I'd be a rich mofo. Way to judge this kid douche.
