Matt Troxel
Offensive Line

Matt Troxel enters his fourth season with the Bengals. After coaching the inside wide receivers and special teams in 2012 Troxel assumed the role of the offensive line coach in 2013. The offensive line showed great improvement in 2013 as quarterback Justin Arias set school records through out the course of the sason.
In 2012 Troxel coached tight end Josh Hill, who was a third-team AP All-American that signed a free agent contract to play with the New Orleans Saints.
In 2011, Hill caught the second-most passes on the team with 48 while earning honorable mention all-conference. A year later Hill caught 70 passes for 630 yards and five touchdowns and received second-team all-league accolades. For Hill's career he caught 143 passes for 1,270 yards and nine touchdowns.
He comes to Idaho State after serving as the graduate assistant coach at the University of Idaho since 2009.
During his time at Idaho he worked with the wide receivers in 2009 and the offensive line in 2010. He was in charge of coordinating the scout team defense, breaking all opponents’ film and putting together the offensive scouting report. Troxel was a part of the 8-5 Idaho team that won the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl. The 2009 team finished ninth in total offense nationally.
Prior to coming to Idaho, Troxel was a student-assistant at Montana in 2008 where he assisted the wide receivers and coordinated the scout team defense.
Troxel played collegiate football at Montana from 2004-07 where his team was the 2004 1-AA National Runner-Up, 2004 Big Sky Champion. Montana won the Big Sky championship all four years he played at Montana. In 2006 the Grizzlies advanced the 2006 FCS semi-finals.
Troxel was a three-year letterman as a wide receiver, kick returner, punt returner and a holder. He was awarded the Naseby Rhinehart Scholar-Athlete Award in the fall of 2007. Troxel played for Bobby Hauck, now the head coach at UNLV.
Mike Ferriter
Inside Wide Receivers

Mike Ferriter enters his second season as the inside wide receivers coach at Idaho State. In his first year he coached Luke Austin, who earned second-team all-Big Sky Conference. Austin's 951 receiving yards was the seventh most in program history and his 11 touchdown receptions tied for the second most in ISU history.
Ferriter joined ISU after spending two years as an offensive graduate assistant at UNLV under coach Bobby Hauck, who previously coached at Montana.
Ferriter was a stand-out receiver at Montana where he was a three-year starter and the team captain in 2008. He came the 11th Griz to reach the 2,000-yard receiving mark in a career as he finished his playing career at Montana with 148 receptions for 2,116 yards and 15 touchdowns.
After earning his bachelor's degree in human biology, Ferriter spent the 2009 season coaching receivers at his alma mater, Helena High School.
