The Seahawk kicker is going to wear "heated pants" in Green Bay this weekend.

What a tough guy. Even if you were going to do this, why would you ever admit it until after the game?

I used to kind of root for the Seahawks if the Packers weren't in it. Not any more.

GO PACK!!!!

If it helps him stay loose and have a better chance of success, what is wrong with it? I bet he isn't the only one. Much ado about nothing. :twocents:

And I always root against the Whiners because of The Catch.

So what? You're not going to affect anything, anyway. The only way Seattle wins this game is if Hasselbeck is replaced by Zorn. Not going to happen.

Disagree with SuperHornet - I believe the Hawks do have a good chance to win, Hasselback's got a great group of WRs and there's two emerging weak(er) spots, so it seems:

- Defending the slot WRs
- Defending the run

I'm not so worried about Sean Alexander as long as the DEs contain him, but Mo Morris can burn defenses, especially on screens/check downs were Brady Poppinga or AJ Hawk usually aren't their best at defending.

Also having DJ Hackett and Nate Burleson in the slot should allow for the Seahawks to have decent opportunities in the short yardage passing game. The Pack's two main slot DBs Bush and Walker aren't good, and Atari Bigby at saftey is a liability - although he's played well recently.

The thing has been that teams with good TEs have burned the Pack, and the Hawks don't have an amazing pass catching TE, sorry Marcus Pollard. So there's a good sign for the Pack D.

I'd guess a 34-28 Pack win.

Nate Burleson KILLS the packers. I'm legitimately concerned.

Very True.

Don't kick to him thats for sure.

I'd say put Woodson on him as best as possible, but Harris on Engram. Leave Hackett & Branch to Walker/Bush/Blackmon & safties

I like the seahawks right where they are at mired in mediocrity.

I hope the Pack puts 50 on them this weekend, it could happen to a nicer liberal city. (Seattle)

Edit: I read half the post. Nevermind.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned. Hasselbeck is accurate but he doesn't throw a great deep ball.

Re/Max,

While I do believe that Green Bay will win convincingly (not quite a blowout), most of what I said was intended to be yet another of my patented "The '80s are better than today" cracks.

By now, you should have seen that.

Also happens to be the smartest city in the US. Coincidence? I think not...
