Eat your plate of crow if you need to, then move on. Begging forgiveness in my opinion is just an attempt to save face. I don't care about your face. Sorry (I guess).
It’s a fine line between eating a plate of crow and begging forgiveness... Go read the in-game thread...there were literally DOZENS of posters who said way worse shit than Psych’s post....he just had the “audacity” to make a separate thread about it....
This is all taken waaaaay too seriously....
For real. I simply posted, while we were losing to EWU, that I felt this season was turning into last season (strong at the start and finished week). And, I hoped I was wrong. Indeed, turns out I was wrong. Unlike last season where I felt our team would have folded, we came back strong in the second half and won. Thus, I admitted I was wrong.
Importantly, I don't give two shits what any of you think of me or my posts. Though, having a mod call me out as the worst poster on Egriz is a bit over the top. Ha.
Also, regarding to the thing I do for members of this board, sorry I didn't do it yesterday. It was raining hard here and my satellite feed was cutting out too much to make it worth while.
My view is that anyone who knows the game and has been following the team the past 2 seasons would have seen the huge improvement of the team this season and would have had confidence that, even after SS, having some drops and mistakes and giving up a couple TDs in the first half, did not mean that this year’s team was going to fade like last year’s team. For one thing, this year’s team had not faded in the 4th quarter. Have some confidence in the team. As other’s babe said, a game has 2 halves. This year’s team has generally been good in the 3d and 4th quarters. UM wasn’t playing bad in the first half. It was the drops and several mistakes.
I agree with people who say it is BS for people to say they I hope they are wrong.
