I missed it...

He hurt is wrist in a scrimmage. Basically just sitting out games we don’t need him to heal up. He played GA St with a brace on and scored 22, so it doesn’t appear to be serious, but for Whitworth and Tech he let the young guys play and rested.

Word on the street is, he could be out a few weeks. :(

your word on the street is dumb. he played vs Ga St and could very well play tomorrow if he had too. However...do you want a guy with a injured wrist playing in games that don't require him when we will 100% need him come conference play

Maybe reinjured it though in that game. It’s possible.

A month.

Just what I heard. Take it or leave it. They would rather have him for the conference than non-conference. Maybe the salty sea air will heal it right up! Fingers crossed.

Conference yes, but let's not forget the importance of the pre-season for seeding for the playoffs. I was hoping a strong showing at Arizona or Creighton might get us up to a 12 seed. That will not be possible without Akoh.

Agreed! Really stinks. If we had him we would have a chance ... still might if Dorsey and Manuel get hot. Unfortunately making the tournament is not a guarantee. We will need all hands on deck in March.
The glass half full guy that I am likes that Kramer and Carter will get a chance to get their feet wet.

Citay, I think you hit it right on the head.
We at least need Akoh on the the bench and ready to go, in case we need him.
