It was mentioned today at MSU that ticket sales are already 1,000 ahead of the pace of last week as of this morning. Friday makes it tougher for people having to come long distances in the State and it is finals week for the students. Also, there will probably be an impact of having it on ESPN2. But all indications the crowds will be as big if not bigger than last week.

I'm not as old as Cat2506, but I've been around long enough to be pretty certain that UM and Griz fans have been just excited, and have used social media to get people to be excited about night playoff games on ESPN2. Geez, let me see, I think it was this EXACT WEEKEND LAST YEAR!!

Actually, I always have been when it comes to this stuff. I do not feel the need to make fun of MSU fans for doing things right. Or be critical of things that have no need to be criticized. I will always be critical of your chant, the burning of the bear and of untrue claims about the Griz and Griz fans.

But the storming the field thread and this dumb thread about a text message is nothing more than envy and jealousy by a select few Griz posters and I certainly hope the majority of Griz Nation doesn't see it that way.

Finals are this week, IN fact one MSU player has a final at 4:00pm the day of the game. Another player also has a group project due on that Friday.

We have no reason to make fun of Cat fans at this point and should just cheer them on- they have earned it. Sorry, after national headlines about rape/cover-up allegations, we cannot complain that they will embarrass the state of MT. I do have all of my teeth and will keep your offer on the table. Utah has some tough laws regarding alcohol....but an extra husband or two could come in handy.
