I understand what he is going for in setting up a regional matchup between Detroit and Michigan but I just dont see how you could give a team with a thirteen loss team with an RPI of 127 and 0 wins against the top 50 a 14 seed. Duke isn't ideal, but there are certainly worse. I would actually like to see Montana go up against Duke and I gaurantee the boys would get up for it. This is definitely a good Duke team to go against seeing as they aren't quite as good as some years. Think of the confidence they would have if they could shock Duke and move on?

Problem against Duke wouldn't be so much Rivers, Curry and Thornton as our guards would match up fairly well, it would be defending the Plumlee boys. Ward doesn't have the height and Selvig doesn't have the beef.
I saw another projection with the Griz playing Baylor, that would be a scary game too as Baylor just knocked Kansas out of their conference tournament.

CBS SPORTS will be on hand to film the Griz men's basketball team as it learns where we're headed for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament next week. The Selection Show will be televised live Sunday afternoon on CBS from 4-5 p.m. GREAT national exposure for this program and The University of Montana. The Griz will be gathered that day at Paradise Falls. Where will UM be headed? SI.com has the Griz in Omaho as a No. 15 seed vs. Missouri, as does ESPN. CBS has Montana as a No. 14 seed vs. Baylor in Albuquerque, with FOX Sports projecting a No. 15 seed vs. Duke in Greensboro. This all goes to prove that no one really knows.... but it is such an exciting time. WE ARE MONTANA!!!!!

14 seed in 2010...i dont see any way that we will be a 15, just no way..not with the run we are on and the overall record being very solid...we are a pretty dangerous 14 seed but like i have said all comes down to the matchup....from what i have read and seen, i would rather be a 14 seed playing Michigan than a 13 and draw a team like florida st, some might disagree but i think the matchup we get is going to play a HUGE part in us winning our first round game more so than being a 13 or 14 seed...becuase in the past 3 and 4 seeds have seemed fairly similar. Give us the right match out out of the eight 3 and 4 seeds and we are going to give somebody a run!

so out of the 3 seeds there are 2 potential matchups? baylor and mich? how bout if we do get a 13 seed...not really sure how they work this regional matchup thing, has it turned into a must? or is it just something they try to do if it works out
