I get to hang out w/ Amanda Beard (PGA Event)

Ok, not really, but I'm heading to Vegas for "work" tomorrow.

There just so happen to be a PGA Event in Vegas. Celebrity Pro-Am is Wednesday w/ AMANDA BEARD.

Gonna check out some of Thursdays round before I head back Thursday evening. Some of the big names, Couples, DL III, David Duval, Mike Weir, Paul Azinger and the guy I want to drink w/, John Daly.

If I had to pick a swimmer to hang out with, though, it'd probably be someone like Mary T. Meagher or Janet Evans.

My meeting lasted longer than expected Wednesday so I couldn't out to TPC Summerlin. I did make it out Thursday. Walked 10-18 w/ Daly, Hensby and Garrigus (born in Nampa, ID). Daly smoked about 7 cigs on the back, Garrigus consistanley out drove Big John (checked Garrigus' stats-AVERAGED 340 Thur ) and Hensby about killed me w/ one of his drives. Ok, maybe not, but his ball landed 7-8 feet from my melon.

This group tee'd off at 709 (2nd group) and there was ELEVEN people there, five of which were Garrigus' family. I thought there would be more. By the time we got to 18 there were probably 25-30 walking w/ the group.

One could get as close to their favorite golfer as possible.

Was watching some guys putt and P McLatchin, or something like that, signed a ProV1 and thru it at me.

Was leaving Thursday about 11ish and wanted to buy something in the proshop. Ended up grabbing a TPC Summerlin towell and hat, went to pay and Paul Azinger was ahead of me buying chapstick.

The biggest suprise was how nice these PROFESSIONALS are-for the most part-and how many of them smoke. A lot of smokers...
