This is getting ridiculious.

Krysko took an team that sucked the year before, added only one player to the mix (and this player wasnt that outstanding no offense to martin but he was not a newcomer in the mold of Harold Arceneaux) and ended up winning the title.

Dont forget people that we nearly lost to Rocky and by the end of the year ended of playing with UW.

Now the wimps on the board are trying to bring Krysko down because he didnt get his degree in four years???? Give me a break. The guy was one of the top 30 players in the country, had a legitimate NBA career. What should he have done. Oh, I know, sorry NBA, I cant concentrate on my workouts or come to minicamp because I dont want to miss this Business class in Missoula.

Of course I like winners, what not to like. Pair of threes you need to understand that it got a bit personal for a few folks while you were missing. They vented and are recovering. Took a few poorly aimed shots along the way. I think things are better now so feel free to join us now. It seems when we thought the season was over it was open season all of a sudden and we had lots of posters with much personal pain. As you recall most of the year it was just the few of us. I think the signature of the big fella from Santa Cruz will settle some folks a bit. In any case I think it will be mostly silent until fall practice. Do not stir folks up it is better when calm prevails and excited folks allowed to be personally bitter. Best not to try to reason however. Now back to round ball at least in November it will be back to roundball

Nines-actually Krysko had 4 new players to work with Martin, Strait, Farr and Matthews. Strait played well all year and Matthews was simply outstanding the last 6 or 7 games. Krysko did an outstanding job but these 4 guys contributed. I totally agree with your point about all of the gnashing of teeth. I do think calm has returned however and I'm glad for that.

The crux of what I said is that I'm personally not ready to jump on the coach K. bandwagon. Not until he does it with his kids. My reason for apprehension is the career of Dennis Erickson, great at winning with other peoples players, when he gets his own things fall apart. I'm not saying coach K. will be like this, but I'm not ready to put a bust of him in the trophy case next to Heathcoate and Don Read.
Yes Larry was a great player and had a good career as a journeyman. But if players don't graduate from UM it negatively affects the University and the Athletic Dept. under the new NCAA guidelines. Its difficult to tell kids they should stay and graduate when coach K. nor coach Tinks did it.
Recruiting class looks like it could shape up as a dandy.
