HUGE GAME

Bigkid best wishes to your family. Events such as these are why I can't understand why some folks get soo upset about college football.

We've had three weeks since the last home game. Plenty of time to rest and show NAU why this is the toughest place in the Big Sky to play.

Hope so, and the fair weather fans and the fans that have turned their back on the team probably wont go, it'll leave just the fun crowd. Should be a good one.

Brint that is a very arrogant, self indulged, stupid comment. Fun crowd? WTF is that. Personal reasons are keeping me home. A member of my family is struggling to stay alive so my misses wants to stay with her and I’m supporting her. I would love to compare my attendance, and donations to yours. Other than not being a qb club member I bet I’m as “committed. The last two, yes two years my wife and I have hit dear going home from the game one of which sent us piling through a fence and ending up in a field. Unlike you who hobnob at the local restaurant before the game and eat pastries, drink coffee and discuss whether or not the “fun crowd” shows up for the game. What a stupid comment. By the way I gave my tickets away....not sold them.. to a worthy cause. Good grief get off your high effing horse......

By the way I have my tickets to the cat/Griz game and two nights planned in Bozeman to be a part of the “fun” crowd.

Yes, Brint, you are arrogant, narcissistic and holier than thou. Oh, wait, no that's a different poster.

I wondering if bigkid has been out drinking with JD Quinn all day today.

And good luck to the family.

People who get field passes sometimes think they are better fans than the guys who have to make a real sacrifice financially to just buy the cheapest tickets when the can and can't afford season tickets, travel costs or coaching groupie kiss ass fees.

Veiled shot towards me I assume? Cool post bro.
I can't find a veil. It is a good post. But he left out the part about Missoulians talking down to those having to hitchhike 700 miles in this weather to get to the games.

Where is this newfound humor coming from? Kudos.

So I am assuming we won't know who is the starting QB until we see who is warming up for the game or even who runs out on the field to take the first snap of the ball.

Sorry if I missed any mention of this same question else where.

Sideline passes are generally free, but not many of them come before significant donations for other things related to football. Somebody or some company has had to make a significant financial contribution, or sacrifice.

One of my favorite sideline stories involves my son, when he was probably about 5 (and when kids could still go down on the field during games). A friend, Krista Redpath, the former Lady Griz, took my son with her. She told me that my son kept wondering towards the middle of the field, standing behind or even with players, and chatting with them. He "knew" some of them from going onto the field after games. He often wore Griz jerseys, including No. 1. Krista told me at one point he said to her: "Hey, look, Trey Young is wearing my number."
