Will last year count as everyone's mulligan? Just asking.

FG's weren't terrible last year. It was the XP's that had me tearing my hair out. Might as well just go for 2. We'll see how Semenza does with a year under his belt.

The defense needs help and I have to assume that Stitt saved 4-5 scholarships to go get some transfers with preferable 3 years of eligibility left. The defense really dropped off over the last half of the season. We had NAU and EWU in the last five, but also MSU and UNCO, so it shouldn't have made this much difference.

First half run defense allowed just 3.0 per carry, last five games 4.7
First half pass def. efficiency was 101.0, last five games 148.8
First six games yards per play was 4.3, last five was 6.2.

We lose three DL and two DBs, including Kidder, Johnson and Nelson. We lose six starters on defense after 2017, which is why I say we need the transfers to have 3 years, so we need to get guys in here now to offset what 2018 is going to look like.
