So what are options to get the Pac 12 network since it's not a avaliable on directv or charter?

You get not just the Pac-12 network, but the regional Pac 12 channels as well with SLING TV. It would be $25/month, but with no contract, so you can cancel and renew at your leisure. You also get ESPN and a bunch of other good stuff too + On Demand media. You can get 50 hours of cloud DVR for an extra $5/month.

Its a pretty great option considering it works on smart tv's, tablets and phones. It would be the "Sling Orange Package" with the sports add-on.

Forgot to mention that. I have personally been using sling for a few months now. As long as you are not an avid channel switcher its really nice and has lots of good of demand content as well as a DVR.

All 7 Pac 12 Network channels (and they are great) available on Charter/Spectrum. DTV-No. Dish-Yes.

This says not on charter

As usual, gogriz.com behind the times. Pac 12 Networks have been available on Charter/Spectrum in Mt. since May. Channels #733-739 in beautiful HD. Watching them right now replay of USC vs W. Michigan.

Can someone explain for me what Sling TV actually is? Their web page doesn't really make it clear. Are they a streaming service like Hulu or Netflix, where I can watch online via my cell phone or laptop?

Here is my situation. I am in a remote location. Have been here since mid-July. I have no mail service or any type, and can rarely leave location, except for brief visits to the nearest town (80 miles away) to buy groceries.

So my question is, can I just sign up for it, and use my internet or do I need some kind of gadget to connect to my computer?

Thanks in advance.

It's an app. Can download it on android/ios. Can also download the program to run on PC/Mac. Many devices like Smart TVs, Blu-Ray Players, etc., have the app available as well. If you can stream netflix where you are, you can stream sling as well. It's pretty great. I usually sign up for it when the NBA hits playoff time and I need TNT/ESPN for the games and then cut it off after.
