How Much Would You Pay for Cat/Griz Tickets?

I thought there would be tons of tickets available. After the suu game I read all over social media GRIZ fans had given up hope and their Brawl tickets. I figured the stadium would be 70% full of cat fans.

I won't be in Missoula for the game so I sold my 2 in the NEZ to some golfing friends for $90 ea. Just couldn't stand charging more than $100 to friends so felt this was fair.
Will be back for the playoffs though. Vaxxed and boostered.

$195 per ticket + $17.50 fee per ticket

I was just about to post this. Turns out season tickets don't have the price on them this year. My parents want to sell some of our tickets so my sister found out the price.

Let me know if you need tickets, I think my parents may go below this price.

If I didn’t have tickets I would spend anything. If tickets were $1000 I wouldn’t hesitate. No way I would ever miss this game

YES! This guy gets it. I have paid a pretty penny through the nose to attend EVERY year. Bozo or MSLA. I don’t give a [#]f###. Only money. In fact, I paid an obscene amount for the last debacle and it was still worth it.

It is the biggest event in MT each year and nothing really even comes close. Well, maybe the Great Falls Fair.

I have only missed it a couple times and both were because of MT HS state championship games the same god damned Saturday. Which is funny because I sure as hell would not miss it for anything else, especially some dumb wedding, hunting, or _______.

Having the HS state chippers that same day is a tragedy. A damn shame. Possibly the biggest missed opportunity in the State.

This has been discussed here before: Can you imagine if all the MT HS chipper games were held together in the lead up to the Cat/Griz? Start with the 6-man and 8-man games on Thursday, Class B and A on Friday, and AA the morning before the Cat/Griz. All at the same venue!

It’s basically how I envision heaven.

I always think that too. Just don’t know if there’s enough beds in town to pull it off. We’re always damn near capacity when we host the brawl. Having all those teams come, especially the smaller ones where the entire town travels, I don’t know where they’d all go.

Stupid Bozeman hotels would charge $1200 a night.

But yes, it would be incredible.

I bought 6 extra tickets when they first came out. I always do because friends and family always want to go. We have brought a party bus the last two games in Missoula from Great Falls. Due to events beyond our control, people couldn’t make it this year. I sold them last week in three pairs for 85 dollars each which is what I paid for them. My daughter blasted it on social media in Grest Falls and we got them sold. I would rather share the game with people that want to experience it than make a few extra dollars profit. Just my opinion. Why not introduce it to new fans?

We are flying in from Anchorage on the 19th to meet up with family for the game. Have season tickets, but haven’t been to a game in WA Griz this year. Went to both UW and ESU games. I would mortgage my house before I’d miss this game!

I hear you (and it’s technically valid) but I still hate that excuse. It sounds like the people (not you) who say we can’t possibly sell beer in the stadium because there are not enough bathrooms.
Give me a break (again, not you). We are Montanans. The most resourceful bunch in the union. We don’t need no fancy rooms with beds. Hell, all I would need is a parking space for the weekend.

No I'm with you. It's not it should be impossible if there was some out of the box thinking.

I was just saying this would have to be where they started to even begin thinking about this idea. You basically can't get a room in Missoula next weekend already. Now you add 10 more teams and their fans. None of which would book hotels until they know they were going to the championship. They'd be out of luck.

But I love the idea.

The crazy thing is they have almost sold all these tickets they just put on sale for $195 plus fee's. Only 9 remain I believe and then they put out some ADA Seats for $83 plus fee's.

Have the high school games on Thursday and Friday each year on the campus that doesn’t have Cat-Griz. Setup a Saturday morning bus caravan from that site to Cat-Griz for those with tickets to both. Buses return after the game.

I paid 200 for a roaming season ticket pass and that’s worth it alone to get this game. I just so happened to go to a few more home games on top of it.

In 1979 I sold my ticket for $10 and thought that was pretty cool. My memory is I watched the game on my black and white TV and the Griz wore copper jerseys and bozeman team wore blue jerseys and it looked like grey playing gray.

Great idea! I think the only possible problem with your logic is finding someone sober enough to drive the busses back.

Back in the day I thought I remember parents or boosters of Missoula Loyola student athletes putting Griz/Cat tickets on ebay (when game played in Missoula) as a fundraiser to give money back to the Rams athletic programs. Anyone else remember this, is this still a thing? Do tickets for the Brawl still go on ebay or is that not a thing any more for tickets.
