How many games?

Do we have to watch before people are calling for Stitts head and begging Coach Hauck to come back to Montana?

I loved Hauck as a coach, but many people often forget that he wasn't always the best at halftime adjustments in "big games." Two that definitely come to mind are the 2004 and 2009 FCS title games. The Griz entered halftime of both games with a lead, and had easily been the better team on the field. However, both opponents made better half time adjustments than the Griz, and we walked away with losses in both of those games.

Ok Bobby. We all know you are upset you didn't get hired back. I know you thought it would be a perfect scenario. MD leaving, you leaving at the same time, looking for a shoe in. We'll sorry. You got the boot.

Now move on and find something else. Times a wasting and this rope you are pissing up is saturated.

Buh bye.

For many of the Hauck teams, the defensive performance of the 3d quarters were absolutely awesome. Gave up almost no points or TD's. Seems like enough adjustments must have been being made in those seasons.

When your team is winning at halftime, and presumably moving the ball and making stops on defense, what big adjustments do you need to make? I understand making some adjustments to perhaps improve on what was done in the first half, but I'm not sure I understand why you would adjust from things that must have been working.

For reasonable fans, the question should be how many games into the 2016 season. While I expect the Griz to be successfull next year and make the playoffs, growing pains exist with any new coach/system. Take Plfugrads first year here for example He struggled putting in his system with players meant for the pro-offense system (Roper running the spread was hilarious). Flash forward to the next year, team has some experience with the system and they are several plays away from the NC. It takes time to get the right players in the system and get those players comfortable with the offense. This year should be slightly different with Stitt having his choice of QB, but to say him losing a few games early with cause a reasonable fan to be calling for his head is laughable.

I like Hauck as a coach and wish he was the pick, but he wasnt and we have to move on. Remember, Hauck's first home game with the Griz was a loss to a then lower division NDSU when his team couldnt score a single point in the second half. Wonder who was calling for the head of the overmatched former ST coach then? Give it some time.

Player,I was more referencing his inability to adjust offensive schemes in these games. Maybe that was more Phoenice, but it was frustrating in both instances that we couldn't adjust offensively

Yeah, time to move on. By all accounts Stitts is a great coach. Motivated, determined and innovative. I too wanted Hauck but I'm really looking forward to seeing what Stitts can do. I think all of the Griz QB's are too.

The better question is how many more posts by you before the Mods beg you to stop ?

I fully expect us to hit the ground running and get a win against NDSU at home. We should be better than this year and get back to 10+ win season. Is that unreasonable? I don't know, but for the first time since Phlugrad was fired I have hope that our team will be better than the sum of our parts, that we won't be out coached every game, and I won't have to pull my hair out in frustration every game.

How about anticipating what your opponent is going to do to try and neutralize what's "been working" for you and have answers to THEIR adjustments?
