Grizwhiz, where did you get your attendance figure. Here are the season average for attendance the past 5 years.

It does seem to have a downward trend with Holst. Pat Kennedy comes in, attendance goes up his first year, so the number of fans that refused to come due to the way Holst was let go must not have been to high. But, there were a lot of free ticket give away promotions that year also, plus there was a game where we had a celebration for football team.

Than Pat's second year was a bust, and this year even worse. But, maybe it had more to do with Lady Griz basketball as the women's team had larger attendance the past two seasons. This year was possibly a record low when it comes to attendance for the men's. I do see this years attendance as the low point and next year should be on the rise.

True- I couldn't find the exact average figures that you did so I pulled out the calculator and looked at it game by game. It looks like I got the Kennedy years average just about perfectly. I was over on Holst's last 2 years. His first year in Adams was obviously his best. What is really discouraging is the fact that this year's attendance was the lowest yet in recent memory (the year at Sentinel) excluded. In my view, it was, in terms of performance, the best in a long time. Granted, the GRIZ won the regular season championship in Holst's second year, but then went one and out in the tournament. It will probably take sustained success, something we haven't had since the mid-90's to really turn attendance around. I think Krysko is well on his way to accomplishing this.

If they do not fatten up Dlouhy I will buy twice as many tickets next year just to watch him perk up the place. If he comes back as Chublouhy I will restrain myself.
