How do we do it?

How does a fan show support for a school and program they love, and support the current players on the team without showing support to the off-season decisions made by a president saving his own job?
I mean really, all I keep reading about on blogs and in local papers is how we should be thankful Delaney is coaching and how great of a man he is. While I am sure he is a great guy, the bigger issue here is the decisions being made by Royce Engstrom.
I fear that by continuing to show up for games, pay ticket prices, parking, food, etc that all goes to "support" decisions that were not thought through back in February.
So how do we do it? Just keep showing up and screaming for our Griz? Well of course we will (at least I will) but how do we make it known to university board members and the new AD that this coaching staff is NOT the answer, and that 6-5, even with a win over the cats, is not acceptable?!

You go to the games as best as you can.

You write/call/email letters to the powers that be with your frustrations. I think feedback is appreciated but I think the players and the program still deserve support.

That's my two cents.

I agree, they do deserve the support.
What I would like to see is more pressure put on by local sports writers and media. Fans and alums writing in will not get it done.
My fear is that Royce will be kept around and turn this program into a .500 team year after year, and the decline of the football team (and $ it brings in) will mean decline to the rest of the athletic programs.
Do you really think there are 25,000 "loyal" fans in Missoula or even Western Montana that will continue going to Griz games every week when they lose to Southern Utah and NAU at home? Come on, you are nieve to think that.
Doesn't mean I stop going because I am one of the "loyal" fans.
Success on the field = fan support, by the masses, plain and simple!
Keep up the good fight Wahlberg!

That's a really good point. Is it just me or is Fritz Neighbor basically an extension of the UM SID office?
