TBH, I argue that ANY school with Gender Studies or Women's Studies, safe spaces, etc, should not be taken too seriously. I don't care if the school is an IVY League or Big Sky. Higher Ed in this country is a joke. I worked in it for years and saw kids (who eventually went into teaching as careers) fully indoctrinated in cultural Marxist b.s. Now those grads from UNC are teaching and indoctrinating kids in k-12 schools. This happens all over the nation though.

I definitely agree that NCU shouldn’t be taken seriously. Pretty sure they don’t even have real degrees. It’s fugazi.

Personally, I'd put anything from the US News and World Reports in the Who Gives a Shit thread. Probably a bunch of Harvard statistical analysts who just make up data and somehow get it published like with the Pygmalion Effect "Supposedly Study." What was worse with that particular study is that the journal editors allowed it to be published! But, back then, nobody questioned the Ivies. Just try to replicate these data. See how the numbers crunch. Pull the numbers out of your ass "studies" are still being used.

Both UM and MSU are tier I research institutions just like most of the Big Sky and MWC schools. The exceptions are Eastern Washington and Boise state (I don't know about Portland State).
