Surely he could have been worth a shot at the BigSky level. He would have been taller than our whole team stacked end to end lul.

Seems like we could have pulled him away from Rochester University

I would think anyone in the country who feels they could use this kid in their gameplan could pull him away from Rochester. There’s probably a reason that 500+ other schools in the country that play at a higher level then Rochester are staying away from this kid. Hope it works out for him in Rochester.

Spot on. Injury prone, likely weighs under 200 lbs, and never played any actual varsity basketball minutes......a Junior at 7’6....he was on....JV. Senior year I’m pretty sure he was injured as well.

From what I just read, he's not so much injury prone. It's more about fairly constant joint pain (elbows and knees). He looks like a stick man, and those long (but too-thin) bones put a lot of stress on his joints. Still, his prep school description claims he's never had a serious injury. However, he's always been on a limited PT regime because he has no stamina to speak of. He's put on 45 pounds since he came to the U.S., but still only weighs 225. They're aiming for him to put on another 60 pounds.

I suspect that most people see him as too much of a project. So ... let the poor smuck at Rochester (Division III, I believe) develop him and then pick him off.
