I thought I just heard on the radio that Ben practiced with them yesterday. Hopefully he can go on Sunday. It seems that the Steelers have bad luck at the QB spot:

1. Jim Miller----what the hell were they thinking.
2. Slash---great athlete but overrated QB
3. Tommy Maddox----flash of brilliance and collects a big paycheck.
4. Charlie Batch---the Lions didn't want him. If they cut you thats pretty damn bad.
5.Tomczak----I guess he played better there than how he announces ESPN college football.

Without Ben I would be calling for Neil O'Donnels house. He's old but is the best option right now.

i hope you're right. i think the more games ben plays, the better
he gets (obviously). don't want any setbacks with his progress, but
don't want to rush his return if he's banged up. good to see some
steeler fans on this board.

Not a diehard Steelers fan. I'm a Vikes fan and they couldn't even put together a good orgy on the water from what it sounds like. I like the team that they have in Pittsburgh, especially Hines Ward. He is one guy that all WR coaches should have their players emulate.
