How badly do you hate the Cats?

“How much” doesn’t really sum it up. It’s like trying to measure the distance to the sun in inches…my dislike is on an entirely different scale that is maybe not entirely rational. If hate were an all-encompassing term, but there were some descriptor above it that delineated all that can be hated plus all that we have not yet discovered to hate…it’s that +1.

I guess I don't really hate the Bobcats, per se, although I do hate many of their fans. That being said, I have never once in my 75 years on this earth rooted for the Bobcats, not even once!

The actual hate seems to be from [#]f### fans on both sides.

I’ve observed the hate is rather strong in some former players. I have seen it in both former cats and Griz. If anyone does, they might have cause to feel that way. For us fans it seems a bit much.

Really I don’t hate anyone or anything, except the S.O.B.’s who place the manhole covers right in the lane where your tire rolls.

The damn street is FIVE LANES WIDE and they design it so can’t avoid running over them without swerving into another lane and causing an accident! What the heck is wrong with these people! I’ll tell you what is wrong with them, THEY ARE BOBCAT Civil Engineers. So I do hate the cats and their slide rules, pocket protectors, and their evil jihad on my tires and shocks! FTC

The Streak taught me one overpowering thing, the cats are irrelevant. I don't watch their games, will look to see what their final score is, and Never, Ever know their players names. I just don't care.

This is an interesting question and I wish I had a better answer. My hatred for anything bobcat is on a completely irrational level and I'm honestly not sure why. Frankly I wish it was different because I have some close friends and family members that are either cat fans or msu grads. I will never root for the cats, no matter who they're playing or what the circumstance is. I despise losing recruits to them and hope for nothing but the worst for them (not injuries of course, I'm talking team wins...I'm not a complete asshole). When driving east, if I know I may need fuel at some point, I'll stop in Belgrade, because f*ck bozeman. I was given a blue and yellow Columbia ski coat for Christmas one year and I gave it to Goodwill. The old "they're still a Montana team so therefore I should cheer for them when they're not playing the Griz" makes me want to puke. I hated them before the 16 game Griz streak and I certainly hate them during this putrid 4 game Griz slide. Be that as it may, I don't talk trash after Griz victories and I congratulate my cat friends/family if they win. Also, there are a few cat fans on this board that I'd gladly drink a beer with....wbtfg and ilovethecats come to mind. So there it is then.....I'm sure I'll be in warm springs at some point in my life.
