Housewright

OC at Akron.

I can’t imagine Montana would extradite on a DUI warrant. Good time to leave the state.

Bye Felicia.

Waded, Elvis, and Sixx toast tonight. "Whew! Here's to no accountability, EVER!"

I understand the Bobcat mindset that they had to wait until their bungled Chosen Season was over to make any decisions (other than the renewals/raises), but this was a fantastic way to get the OC out of town without making their priorities even more obvious. Every incorrect decision they've made along the way will now be completely forgotten by MSC fans.

Good. I drive around Bozeman enough with my kids and I don't need to get killed by some dumbass.

Housewright filling out his resume…..checks “cannot reach out to former employer” box.

“This jobs mine” he thinks as he finishes his 3rd bud light driving away from Bobcat Stadium.

Garza. Check.
Housewright. Check.
Mix.
Sixx.
Costello.
Cruzado.

Two down, four to go. All over misdemeanor, which should have/could have been resolved by now. Now, they are dealing with the repercussions of the coverup. Hope they all go down in flames.

What a fucking embarrassment for that program and university. Stall, stall, stall, refuse to comment until the season's over, maybe they'll leave. Great public policy.

Maybe now one of Montana's "reporters" will grow a pair and ask the difficult questions of MsDui's "leadership" that should have been asked months ago. I doubt it, but we can all hope.

How can an AD approve of this when he has pending charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and whatever charges he got around having a subordinate coach try to help him hide the evidence.

Did they just not do a background check?! What are they going to do if he goes to trial and is found guilty and it makes the news in Akron? He had to get hired without disclosing that.... Yikes.

I guess the bubs aren't the only WAC program out there.

That's the scummy thing about all of it. No reporter would ever ask anything now that neither coordinator coordinates at MSU. MSU "fixed the glitch", so to speak. They instituted a "policy" not to comment on such matters after the second arrest, and the journos just blindly accepted it. They could easily just make a policy not to speak about their decisions regarding former employees. Hell, if I was Sixx, I would push for a policy not to discuss losses to the press. You know the journalists would just respect the policy and call Griz fans losers for half an hour on a podcast.

The real snaky thing is how MSU got the wheels of justice to turn so slowly in a county with barely over 100k people so they could see how the season turned out first. Worst case scenario for Waded & Co. would have been a deep playoff run with a dominant defense. It would have been quite the pickle trying to terminate the DC then after giving him a raise with the same legal issues pending a year prior.

No doubt Waded wields her power much like Dean Wormer. There may be a mayor in name in Fabe...uhh, bozeman, but we all know who actually runs the show. A few well-placed phone calls and alllllll of Faber Colleg...err...msu's problems simply disappear.

Coach Sixx on the promotion: "The fact that this guy doesn't have any dui's that the public is yet aware of made this an easy decision for us. We look forward to continuing the bub tradition of getting blotto before climbing behind the wheel, because we know this university has our back. Now, we don't talk about personnel decisions so I cannot comment further".
